HTC KOLLEL PARTNERSHIP

One of the unique features of Fasman Yeshiva High School is our close partnership with the larger HTC Beis Midrash and Kollel, creating an authentic Torah environment that extends far beyond the classroom.

Under the leadership of Rabbi Moshe Revah, Rosh HaYeshiva of Hebrew Theological College, our students learn in a vibrant Beis Midrash shared by high school talmidim, kollel yungeleit, and Beis Midrash students. This unique setting allows students to experience the atmosphere of a thriving yeshiva while still in high school, surrounded by individuals who have dedicated themselves to continued Torah growth and learning.

The relationship between our students and the Kollel is much more than sharing a building. Throughout the week, kollel yungeleit regularly learn one-on-one and in small groups with our talmidim, serving as mentors, role models, and chavrusos. During Mishmar and other special learning programs, Kollel members and their families help create an environment of enthusiasm and excitement for Torah learning.

Beyond the walls of the Beis Midrash, the partnership continues in meaningful ways. Kollel families regularly open their homes to our dormitory students, hosting them for Shabbos meals and helping them experience the warmth of a Torah-centered family life. These relationships often develop into lasting connections that continue well beyond a student's years at FYHS.

"The connection between our Bais Midrash/Kollel and high school students creates a unique Torah environment where our talmidim are able to learn from and build relationships with older students who are just a few steps ahead of them. There are certain lessons and values that are often absorbed more naturally from a "big brother" than from a rebbi. These meaningful relationships help foster the culture of lifelong commitment to Torah that is the hallmark of FYHS."
